Embryology in the classroom project is the largest 4-H program in Pennsylvania. Learn more about the exciting opportunities in the Pennsylvania 4-H embryology Program. Contact is Phillip J. Clauer.

The Commercial Egg program for commercial egg producers and processors is a new program areas being developed for web access. We currently have a description of the PA Egg Quality Assurance Program and Certification Training materials, however, in the future more materials will be added to this site including farm budgets for prospective pullet and egg producers, management guides, resource lists and other useful information. Incubation Management

Nutrient Management issues associated with the poultry industry are important for many reasons. Foremost is the collective desire of the public and poultry industry to maintain environmental quality. Secondarily, these impinge on the perception of the industry by the public and the sustainability of poultry farms in America. Enclosed in this site are some references and educational resources to assist the public, industry and government better understand and manage these nutrients. Contact is Paul H. Patterson.

Small and Specialty Poultry Programs We work with avian organizations and producers in Pennsylvania to develop educational program addressing the needs of small and specialty flock owners (animal well-being/rights, disease spread, legislative activity, and other major issues).
