Pesticide Information Center (NPIC) is a cooperative effort
of Oregon State University and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
with a toll-free telephone service that provides pesticide information
to any caller in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands.
Is a service that provides objective, science-based information about
a wide variety of pesticide-related subjects, including: 1) pesticide
products, 2) recognition and management of pesticide poisoning, 3) toxicology,
4) environmental chemistry, 5) a source of factual chemical, health,
and environmental information about more than 600 pesticide active ingredients
incorporated into over 50,000 different products registered for use
in the United States since 1947.

Management Recommendations for Poultry This 24-page publication
describes common insect pests of poultry, identifies symptoms of infestation,
and outlines control practices. House fly, black garbage fly, small
dung fly, Northern fowl mite, and beetles associated with poultry litter
are among the pests covered. Illustrations of many of the pests are
included, as are handy pull-out pesticide tables and laundry tips.
